At the Thursday February 21st Land Use Committee Meeting, Architect Matt Davis presented a new project for 21st Ave, between Clay and Decatur. The proposal is to build a duplex where there is currently an existing single family bungalow. The lot is currently zoned R-2 which already allows the construction of a duplex, however the proposed development violates the bulk plane requirements of the current zoning. Consequently the developer is seeking RMU-20 zoning. A meeting with the landowners within 200 feet of the property is being organized by JPUN in conjunction with the developer, to present and address neighborhood stakeholders This meeting is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, March 1st @ 10:30am, Location TBD, but will be in the neighborhood.
