Parking Restrictions around Sports Authority Field at Mile High

for Broncos Preseason Games

DENVER, CO —Football fever is coming on fast! On Saturday, August 29, the Denver Broncos will tackle their first preseason game at home, which has Denver Public Works reminding drivers to have a game plan when it comes to parking. Be mindful and keep an eye on posted parking restrictions around the stadium, including surrounding neighborhoods. If you are attending, please follow posted neighborhood parking restrictions.

On Street Parking

Denver Public Works Right of Way Enforcement Agents will enforce posted parking regulations in the area including surrounding neighborhoods during stadium events.

Posted signs in the stadium area restrict parking to vehicles with the correct residential parking permit posted in the window from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Saturday. Those vehicles that park without appropriate permits will be cited and towed to a temporary impound lot in Denver at 2000 W. 3rd Avenue.

If you are eligible for a Residential Parking Permit (RPP), now is a great time to make sure your permits are current. You are likely eligible for RPP if you have a sign with posted restrictions on your street. To find out more, call 3-1-1 or click here.

Sports Authority Field at Mile High special event attendees who choose to drive should also be cautious when utilizing a parking lot in the area.

If you are not parking in one of the parking lots on Sports Authority Field at Mile High property, choose only those locations that 1) display a special event parking sign issued by the City & County of Denver, or 2) are existing approved parking lots clearly managed by reputable companies.

The signs display the seal of the City & County of Denver and include the address of the parking location. These signs were issued because of the proliferation of illegal parking lots taking drivers’ money, only to have the drivers return to their vehicles to find it ticketed and/or towed.
