Tiny Version of old Mile High Stadium Going Up in New Stadium’s Parking Lot Plans call for a replica scoreboard topped with a dime-store-sized rearing Bucky, a Barrel Man statue, a working video screen and tavern-like tables. An interactive component will allow visitors to scan a photo on their smartphones to call up audio of big plays throughout the team’s history. A free standing set of aluminum bleachers will memorialize the rowdy south stands. The team hopes to begin  construction in April, pending city approval. The goal is to have the mini Mile High
completed by August in time for the Broncos first pre-season home game.

There has been some concern expressed about the noise that could emanate from an outdoor special event facility so close to the neighborhood. Come express your opinion at our next General Membership meeting. When: Tuesday, April 12, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm Where: Riverside Baptist Church, 2401 Alcott St.

JEFFERSON PARK DAY: Community Clean-Up – JPUN’s annual neighborhood clean-up and community picnic is scheduled for Saturday, May 21 from 9 am to 2 pm. JPUN invites you to join your neighbors at the park for a Saturday full of neighborhood cleaning and family friendly festivities like face painting and pinatas. Enjoy a burrito and local coffee in the morning, join a team to clean up around the neighborhood, then come enjoy a picnic lunch spread provided by Riverside Baptist Church. It’s a great opportunity to come meet your neighbors – new and old – while contributing to the community and hearing what’s abuzz around Jeff Park.

Street Sweeping begins Friday, April 1st – Denver Public Works needs your help in keeping the Mile High City clean by being mindful of posted street sweeping schedules on residential streets. vehicles and or items should be removed from the curb on posted sweeping days. Save yourself a $50 surprise by signing up for street sweeping  alerts at
