Jeff Park Farm and Flea – On September 10th, the Jefferson Park Farm & Flea will once again fill 25th Avenue with nearly 60 of Denver’s best makers, food vendors, crafters, as well as some fantastic Colorado grown produce. The event will also feature a mobile bike mechanic, food trucks, chickens and goats and adoptable dogs from the Dumb Friends League. Rezoning will be discussed at our September general membership meeting (Tuesday, September 13th at 6:30 PM, Riverside Church):
•  Rezoning the property at 2833 W 25th Avenue from residential to commercial
•  Expanding the business district east along 25th Avenue
•  What type of businesses make sense for that area?
•  How to have the right type of zoning for those businesses?
•  What is the future of 26th Avenue?

Federal Boulevard – The Federal Boulevard planning process hit its stride with the August release of a draft set of project priorities. Recommendations from the successful conclusion of the planning process will direct corridor improvement efforts for the next 20 years. As a once-in-a-generation opportunity to positively affect Federal redevelopment, the Federal Boulevard Partnership is sponsoring a public meeting to discuss and further prioritize the list of possible projects. The meeting is Thursday, September 22nd, 6:30 PM at the American GI Forum, 1717 Federal Blvd.
