Spanos Corporation to Present Project Update at JPUN Meeting Tonight

This just in:

Lex Economou from The Spanos Corporation will give a short update on the statusof the apartment complex project that wraps around from Clay St. to 23rd Avenue. They have their siteplan approval and are very close to site engineering
approvals from the different agencies. There is no exact timeline yet, but they
are estimating this summer. Lex is planning on bringing some colored elevations
on posterboard for people to take a look at.

Lauren Brockman from Allied will also be presenting an update on the
Speer/Alcott project.

The JPUN meeting will begin at 6:30 tonight in the Rear Chapel of Riverside
Baptist Church. Hope to see you there.

TONIGHT – Streetscape Design Concept Presentation

The Federal Boulevard Partnership Streetscape Design Committee is prepared to present drawings and illustrations of  twelve streetscape concepts, which were developed from the public Design Workshop convened in the spring (see recap article below). The concepts will be formally presented and feedback solicited at a public meeting Wednesday, July 13, 6:30 PM (6:00 PM Open House), Adams Mystery Playhouse, 24th and Federal. Continue reading

Join us for the JPUN April Happy Hour at the Aquarium – and experience the best “Dive” bar in the city. Drinks, munchies, and really big fish provided! Bring the kids.

Location: The Dive Lounge

Parking is available in the Aquarium Lot – validation to be provided inside. Free parking is also available in the dirt lot across from El Senor Sol – no validation  necessary.

Federal Boulevard Streetscape Design Workshop – April 2nd

Come one, come all to the streetscape public design workshop. We’ll organize into four groups, each representing one block along Federal and W. 25th Ave, tour each block and discuss conditions and possibilities, go back to the meeting space and work with a design professional and facilitator to develop a preferred streetscape design and architectural elements for each block. Breakfast will be provided with sign in at 9:00 AM. Workshop begin officially at 9:30!
